From the article:
“Sadly, the trend of owning the perfect ‘designer’ dog is growing, with people expecting a fully house trained, well-behaved pet straight from the shelter, when the fact is that these animals have often been subjected to abuse, neglect, and stress, all of which can naturally affect the behavior and temperament of a dog. But instead of doing what is necessary and providing safe, loving homes, and showing patience and nurturing, adopters are turning their backs on these poor animals and sending them back because they don’t live up to their high expectations.”
I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but this just pisses me off. No need to repeat what I’ve said about this issue in the past – you can read it here.
