I have read so much of your posts and I swear I know you. You can tell an Author by their writing styles. What they write about too. I truly enjoy them all too each Author write’s is almost like a signature. I go to these poetry readings and it some of it sounds like some woman Sarah. She reads every thursday night ? Are you her or someone I would know? Please advise. Thanks. I know you say you live far away from you NY but, maybe from what you wrote. You think just like me. In writing about Eastern Philosophy,Spirituality and love of animals. Anyway please hit me back.
Hi – thanks for your kind comments.
My name is not Sarah, and I’ve never lived anywhere near New York. I did write poetry once, but haven’t written or posted any for years. I focus on other types of writing these days.
Thanks for replying. I was wondering what are your favorite Genres for literature then if you care to share. I only ask because sometimes I write about personal philosophical issues. Then Technology and everything under the sun. A lot of it sometimes I do not post due to my opinionated views on everything. Some of that best to keep to myself off the internet
. Sometimes people have more than one blog to write about not just opinions or feelings. They write about fiction and everything as a anonymous name. Unlike what I am here open about who I am. My favorite examples of what I like are writers like Hemingway,James Joyce,Tolkien,Poe and C.S. Lewis. I am not able to pin it down for you first in my interest and say Gothic or Post Modernism. I will keep reading what ever you write that you post. I was just curious if your blog and posts were not influenced by yourself. What other Authors do you love who influence the type of writing you do? My E-mail is RichWalston2@verizon.net in case you do want to talk via posts. If you want to talk more at all. Thank You Very Much in Advance. Rich Walston
I just want to make clear that I thought you were someone else. I think you are confused about my intentions were very much so too. I think that in a incredibly seemingly huge internet world I seem to actively or passively find people. They are people that I wanted to find from the happiest times ever. People that made me the happiest at times. To other People who make me remember things that well could have been better. Thinking on that subject. However, the one thing that I wish I had known six years ago was teachings from Bertrand Russell. He says two things in a BBC interview after asked what would you say to a future generation of young people. One thing he said that if you are looking for answers. Looking to solve a problem in anything. Academically or otherwise. You need to look at the facts. Even though some of these facts may support your Thesis. Never let your emotions or how you feel change your answers and your outcome. The second teaching is “Love is smart”. “Hate is Foolish” Those are two teachings which are very helpful for someone no matter who they are. This rings true for more people than others. I love them very much.
I haven’t replied yet because we have a busy schedule that includes heavy physical labor, and I can’t always respond in a timely manner. Sorry about that, and don’t worry – I didn’t think you were stalking me or anything
